Application Deadline and Term Start Date

Applications to the Virginia University of Science & Technology (VUST) are accepted year-round, and new students may be admitted at the beginning of any academic term. Applicants are encouraged to apply early and allow sufficient time for the University to complete the admissions evaluation process if they wish to begin studies in a specific term.

VUST operates on a quarter system (for clarity, the terms quarter, semester, and term are considered equivalent at VUST).

 

The University follows a rolling admissions policy, reviewing applications on an ongoing basis. However, all application materials and required documents should be submitted no later than one week prior to the start of classes for the intended term of enrollment.
