Application Deadline and Term Start Date

Applications are accepted year-round, and new students can be admitted for every academic term at the University. Applicants are advised to allow sufficient time for the University to complete its admissions evaluation process if they desire to begin their studies at the University in a specific academic term.

Virginia University of Science & Technology (VUST) uses the quarter system (hereafter, ‘term,’ ‘semester,’ and ‘quarter’ are considered the same at VUST; please don’t be confused).

VUST adopts a rolling admission policy and accepts applications each quarter. However, applicants should submit their application and required documents no later than one week before the first class starts.
