Virginia University of Science & Technology (VUST), a private and in-state university, located in Tysons Corner, Virginia, offering a Master Degree of Science in and Cybersecurity & Information Assurance, is seeking applications for instructional faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professional level. With an expected start date of September 2016.
The successful candidate must be competent; highly motivated; and demonstrated excellence and creativity in leadership; and a commitment to high-quality teaching. In addition, a willing to perform theoretical and experimental teaching and experience in multi-disciplinary technique and applied research is highly encouraged.
MINNIMUM QUALIFACATIONS:
Minimum qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. with a working knowledge in computer science, computing engineering, electronic engineering, information sciences, information technology, leadership, communication technology, learning analytics, English, or a related field. VUST will give hiring emphasis for those candidates in cybersecurity, information assurance, data security, operation assurance, and etc.. Plus, demonstrated teaching experiences in accredited universities. All applicants must meet the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) requirements of 8VAC 40-31-140.
