How to Log in Your Populi!

Virginia University of Science & Technology (VUST) LMS is using

Learning Management System (LMS) – Populi

The Virginia University of Science & Technology (VUST) utilizes Populi, one of the leading and widely used Learning Management Systems (LMS) in higher education.

All VUST students are required to use Populi for essential academic and administrative functions, including:

• Managing academic records and monitoring financial balances
• Submitting assignments, quizzes, homework, and projects
• Communicating with professors and classmates
• Completing university-required online surveys

New Student Access
When you are officially registered as a new student by the Registrar, the Populi System Administrator will send a Welcome Email to the personal email address you used during the admissions application process.

This Welcome Email will contain instructions to:

1 – Retrieve your verification code
2 – Create a secure password (minimum 10 characters)
3 – Log in to the Populi system for the first time

Please check your personal email inbox after registration and carefully follow the instructions provided to activate your Populi account.

Important Notes:

1 – Correct Email Address
When applying for admission to VUST, you must provide a valid and accurate email address. If the email address is entered incorrectly or misspelled, you will not receive the Welcome Email from the VUST Learning Management System (Populi).

2 – Mobile Phone Requirement
You must have a valid 10-digit U.S. or Canadian mobile phone number in order to receive the verification code required to activate your Populi account.
