Admission Procedures and Policies

A prospective student‘s acceptance is not finalized until all documents are received by admissions to the satisfaction of the Admission requirements. Until a student‘s admission is finalized, he or she has not completed the admissions process. A student‘s VUST acceptance may be denied any time during the admissions process.

Graduate Admission Policy and Entrance Requirements

A prospective graduate applicant must meet the following policies and requirements:

Have a bachelor‘s degree from an accredited institution or the equivalent from a foreign college or university.

Provide a personal statement that demonstrates writing skills at a level consistent with that expected of graduate-level candidates and career objectives consistent with the objectives of the program for which the prospective student is applying.

The two recommendation letters from his/her college professors or employers/or supervisors are optional.

Fill out VUST’s Application Form for Graduate Program, the application form with support documents must be submitted before application deadline –  before the quarter start day.

Application Fee of $75.00. This is non-refundable fee.

International Student Transfer-Out

If international students request to transfer-out to another university/college, they must provide required documentations, complete all transfer-out procedures before deadline and pay transferring service fee, and fully comply with the VUST Transfer-Out Policy. Please refer to this policy if you are not sure the policy.
