To seize opportunities or meet unforeseen challenges as they arise, Virginia University of Science and Technology relies on the unparalleled flexibility of unrestricted support. Gifts of unrestricted support provides VUST the nimbleness to address the University’s most urgent priorities, such as student aid, academic or research initiatives, faculty recruitment, and other immediate needs where critical funding is scarce. This is particularly helpful for meeting emerging demands and opportunities that cannot be predicted.

The unrestricted President’s Excellence Fund provides an opportunity for VUST’s generous alumni and friends to make a difference in VUST’s daily operations by providing valuable resources to support the University’s areas of greatest needs. Gifts of any size may be made to the fund and, because contributions to this fund are immediately expendable, it will make a significant difference at VUST right now.
