VUST Earns Five-Year Renewal of ACCSC Accreditation

August 27, 2026
Virginia University of Science and Technology is pleased to announce that the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) has renewed VUST’s institutional accreditation for five years, beginning in November 2026.
The Commission’s decision followed a comprehensive accreditation review that included an institutional self-evaluation, extensive documentation, student feedback, an on-site evaluation, and VUST’s response to the evaluation report.
“This five-year renewal is a significant achievement for our university and a reflection of the dedication of our entire community,” said VUST President Voytek Panas. “I am deeply grateful to our students, faculty, staff, and leadership team for their hard work, professionalism, and commitment to educational quality.”
VUST extends special appreciation to the students who completed the accreditation survey and met with members of the evaluation team. The university also recognizes the faculty and staff who prepared documentation, participated in interviews, supported the on-site visit, and contributed throughout the review process.
Accreditation reflects an institution’s commitment to meeting established standards of quality and integrity. It also requires continued attention to institutional effectiveness, academic quality, student services, and student success.
VUST proudly celebrates this important milestone while reaffirming its commitment to continuous improvement and to preparing students for meaningful academic and professional opportunities.
